28 Sep The Ōnin Group acquires Universal Labor & Staffing

The Ōnin Group has acquired Universal Labor & Staffing, a Texas-based staffing company specializing in providing strategic temporary labor solutions for Global 1000 corporations.
The transaction closed Sept. 27.
With a 30-year history of providing staffing and managed services programs to national and global customers, Universal Labor & Staffing specializes in creating solutions that minimize temporary labor costs, optimize existing supply chains, and improve reporting and management capabilities and service levels.

The Ōnin Group is a Birmingham-based privately held group of companies that includes Ōnin Staffing, Excelsior Staffing, A3 Solutions, Focus IT and Ōnin Professional Search. Ōnin’s core business is staffing, where they rank in the top two percent of domestic staffing companies in sales volume and rank as one of SIA’s fastest growing staffing firms year after year.

Following the sale of Universal Labor & Staffing, Mr. Baker will open a new Miami-based Ōnin Staffing office.
